WORK CAMP AT NEW COVENANT SCHOOL

June 1-8, 18 young adults from Brethren congregations throughout the U.S. will join Ilexene and Michaela Alphonse for a Church of the Brethren work camp at the New Covenant School in St. Louis de Nord, on the northern end of Haiti. The group will be spending each morning working on the new school building being erected there for New Covenant. Then each evening, they will run a vacation Bible School experience for the local children. Afternoons will be spent resting and recreating in the Haitian heat. Please pray for safe travel and an enriching experience for all.

MARK OCTOBER 23-24 ON YOUR CALENDARS!

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of Mimi First CoB, and we plan to celebrate it in style. On Saturday, October 23, we will have a special luncheon event at Shula’s Steakhouse in Miami Lakes. This will be kind of a  dress up time to eat together and then share memories and greetings with current and former members, as well as local, District, and denominational guests. The celebration will continue with various activities that evening and conclude the next morning at our worship service. We hope you can all come, as you are invited.
